Heather’s mission is to help people reconnect with their bodies, release shame around food, and show people that they can reach their health and weight loss goals.

Society teaches us that being overweight is a personal flaw or a lack of control - fasting teaches us that just isn't the case.

Through fasting, Heather helps you quiet the food noise, rebuild confidence, and work with your body, not against it.

    Obesity is a symptom of insulin resistance (unbalanced blood sugar). Fasting addresses the root cause and with time, will balance your insulin helping you to feel good and ease/eliminate symptoms!

    As women we are told that our hormonal symptoms are just a natural part of aging, or part of being a woman. We don't have to accept this! Fasting can have a dramatic effect on our hormones helping us feel stable and balanced during all phases of our lives.

    Fasting isn't a diet. Instead of limiting calories we turn on hormonal signals to tap into our body fat - with fasting we use our fat an energy source. Instead of burning food energy (glucose), we start to burn body fat (ketones). With a consistent fasting practice you can become a pro at burning fat.

    Our bodies learned to store fat to use for later, the problem is in our society we eat all the time and never use the fat in the way it was meant to be used. Fasting is a pause from food, allowing your body to use that fat as it was intended. You pause form eating food, and instead "eat" your body fat.

Heather is all about empowering you to charge of your own health, and feeling happy and in control while doing so! Heather believes that a healthy body is one that has energy, feels happy and doesn't need the bandaids of multiple medications.

Heather is here to help you integrate fasting into your life in a way that feels right for you. You get to be the boss of this process (with Heather as your expert guide)! Fasting is a lifestyle and Heather will help guide you in how to make it work for your unique life - but with your rules!

Each client starts with very short fasts and extends their fasts as they feel ready. The goal is to FEEL GOOD! Fasting shouldn't be painful, or difficult, no one wants you to suffer! You will learn to listen to the messages from your own body and learn to know what it is asking for. Yes, your body is always talking to you, you just gotta learn to listen.
